本基金之目標是為透過投資於亞洲經濟強國，主要為香港、新加坡、韓國、台灣、泰國、馬來西亞、菲律賓、及印尼(不包括日本)，為投資者提供重大資本增值。本基金原名為 Thronton Tiger基金。

• Chris is a Senior Portfolio Manager, with responsibility for Asia and Korean equity portfolios. He rejoined AllianzGI in 2014. Chris was previously with the group from April 2001 to March 2006 where he managed the Korean equity mandates, pan-regional strategies and provided support to the regional portfolio management team. Prior to re-joining, Chris specialised in long-short equity investments in Korea and Hong Kong/China at LAPP Capital. Before April 2001, Chris spent six years with AXA Investment Managers (HK) working as an Asian research analyst and Korea equity portfolio manager. Chris is a CFA charter holder and holds both a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

• William is the Global Head of Equity Product Specialists and a managing director with Allianz Global Investors based in Hong Kong. He joined the firm in 2014 and has over 27 years of investment experience. William was appointed as co-lead manager of the Allianz Asia Innovation Fund in 2019. He began his investment career as an equity research analyst before going on to become a Standard & Poor’s rated Asian equity fund manager at Royal & Sun Alliance Investment Management. He has also previously worked at Fidelity Worldwide Investment and M&G Investments, where he specialized in product and marketing. William joined Allianz Global Investors as the Head of Asia Product Specialists before being appointed to his current role in January 2017. William has a B.A. in economics and social history from Bristol University, United Kingdom, graduating with First Class Honours, and a P.G.D.M. in Mandarin Chinese from Peking University.
