Ghislain Gauthier joined Pictet Asset Management in 2018 and is an Investment Manager in the Thematic Equities team, managing the Global Thematic Opportunities strategy and customized thematic solutions. Before joining the Thematic Equities team in 2021, Ghislain worked for three years in the Equity Investment Risk team at Pictet Asset Management. Prior to that, he worked in London for six years in equity hedge funds, as a quantitative researcher at Auriel Equities and as the lead quantitative analyst at Duet Asset Management. Ghislain started his career at MSCI Inc. in the Barra Applied Research group. Ghislain is Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) holder and holds a MSc. in Quantitative Finance from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and a MEng in Financial Engineering from Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci, Paris (ESILV).
Jan Andreas Maager joined Pictet Asset Management in 2016 and is an Investment Manager in the Thematic Equities team, managing the Global Thematic Opportunities strategy and customized thematic solutions. Before joining the Thematic Equities team in 2020, Jan worked for three years in the Finance team at Pictet Asset Management. Jan started his career as a Financial Auditor, at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland. Jan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
Gertjan van der Geer joined Pictet Asset Management in 2008. He is Head of Thematic Solutions in the Thematic Equities team and a Senior Investment Manager responsible for the Global Thematic Opportunities strategy. Before joining Pictet, Gertjan worked for two years at Robeco in Rotterdam as a senior portfolio manager for the Food & Agriculture strategy. Gertjan began his career in 2000 at Fortis MeesPierson as an asset manager in the Private Banking division.Gertjan graduated with a degree in Business Economics and Financial Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam.
