• Ashish Kochar joined the Fidelity Global Equity Team in September 2021 as Lead Portfolio Manager of idelity Global Equities Fund. He also manages FF Institutional Global Focus Fund, a Japan-domiciled Fidelity Global Mother Fund. Before joining Fidelity, Ashish has managed/co-managed the Threadneedle Global Extended Alpha, American Select, American Extended Alpha and American Absolute Alpha funds. He was also responsible for consumer sector research. Ashish joined Threadneedle Investment Services in 2008 as a Senior Portfolio Analyst within the US Equities Team and subsequently joined the Global Equities Team in 2010. He joined the company from a 'Tiger Cub' hedge fund - North Sound Capital and previously worked as an Analyst for Merrill Lynch in New York. Ashish holds Master of Business Administration from Mason School of Business, The College of William and Mary. He also pursued a Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School. He is a seasoned investor with over 13 years’ experience at Threadneedle including 10 years as portfolio manager. His portfolio management experience spans across US, Global and Absolute Return Products (including some flagship funds at Threadneedle). Ashish has managed a meaningful book of assets (approximately US$3 billion) and has catered to a global clientele through both Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC) and SICAV products.
