以盡量提高總回報為目標。基金將其至少70%的總資產投資於在英國註冊成立或上市的公司的股本證券。基金在或然可換股債券的投資以其總資產的5%為限。基金可運用衍生工具作投資用途及進行有效投資組合管理。

• Samantha Brownlee, Director and portfolio manager in the UK Core Equity team within BlackRock's Fundamental Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equity group. Samantha is responsible for the UK Equity and UK Focus portfolios alongside Luke Chappell, with a research emphasis on Basic Resources. Samantha joined Blackrock in December of 2022. Prior to joining Blackrock, Samantha worked at abrdn for 14 years working on the Pan European, US and UK equities teams. Samantha spent 7 years living in Philadelphia, working as a portfolio manager on US portfolios and covering North American stocks as a generalist, before returning to the UK in 2020.

• Luke Chappell, Managing Director and portfolio manager, is head of the UK and Global Core Equity teams within BlackRock's Fundamental Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equity group. Mr. Chappell's service with the firm dates back to 1998, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers ("MLIM"), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. At MLIM, Mr. Chappell was an equity portfolio manager, responsible for managing UK Specialist equity portfolios. Prior to joining MLIM, he worked at another investment management house in a range of research and fund management roles, with particular emphasis on specialist accounts and mid-cap stocks.
