FERDINAND CHEUK, CFA Senior Vice President Portfolio Manager, Research Analyst Templeton Global Equity Group Franklin Templeton Investments (Asia) Limited Hong Kong Ferdinand Cheuk is senior vice president, portfolio manager and research analyst in the Templeton Global Equity Group. He manages a number of Asia Pacific and Japan portfolios and is also a member of the Global Leaders Investment Team. His research responsibilities include internet and technology and country coverage on Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. Prior to joining Templeton in 2016, Mr. Cheuk was a senior investment analyst with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong where he also managed regional and country portfolios. He entered the financial industry in 1996 having worked at JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch and the Capital Group. Mr. Cheuk holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Peter D. Sartori is executive vice president and portfolio manager for the Templeton Global Equity Group (TGEG) based in Singapore. He is also a member of the global leadership group for TGEG, responsible for driving regional mandates and positioning Asia Pacific for business growth within global and international portfolios. Peter has 29 years' experience in the asset management industry. He started his career in 1990 at First State Investments in Melbourne Australia before opening their Hong Kong office in 1997. From 2001, he held senior roles at Scudder Investments in Singapore and Credit Suisse Asset Management in Sydney. In 2005 Peter launched his own boutique funds management company Treasury Asia Asset Management (TAAM) located in both Sydney and Singapore. TAAM was acquired by Nikko Asset Management Asia in 2014, and Peter remained with the company as Head of Asian Equities in Singapore until 2019. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT (Phillip) in Melbourne Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
